BINYEO 01_HELD
비녀 01_붙들림
A traditional Korean hairpin, or binyeo, is reinterpreted as a wedge that holds the cabinet doors closed. Suspended by wires within a frame, the cabinet embodies the opposing states of being held and floating. The work explores tension and balance between traditional form and contemporary structure, function and sculpture. Exhibited at the 32nd regular exhibition of the Korea Furniture Design Association in 2026.
