Open Forest Library — Spatial Design and Fabrication

The first-floor lounge at Samsung IT Valley in Guro, Seoul, was transformed into an open library. Part of the central fountain structure was removed to create a tree-inspired sculpture incorporating tiered seating. Forest-inspired bookshelves and table sets were arranged freely around it. The tree sculpture was designed with an open framework that responds to the central atrium’s vertical openness and preserves views of the ceiling above.
